All of Life begins with the heartbeat and story.
My spiritual quest began in childhood when I wondered what the Catholic Church was not telling us. I instinctually knew in the cosmology of heaven, earth, limbo, purgatory, hell, that somethings were not true and that something was absolutelly missing. At age 12, I found the truth in a world religons book in the chaper on..drumroll ! Reincarnation.
Edgar Cayce and the ARE in Virginia Beach, VA provided me with more understanding, education, knowing of the truth. I continue to be a member and recommend your knowing about the life and legacy of Edgar Cayce.
I walk the path of the classic wounded healer. Countless experiences in deep heartache from abandonment, betrayal, being confused, lost, life unravelment, loss, grief, lead me to feel disconnected and suicidal. I later discovered the pattern of repeated suicides in other lifetimes and needing to heal that in this lifetime. My own soul wounds catapulted me onto this path to heal me. Past lives had presented themselves to me over many years as spontaneous regressions meaning I would see a piece of a story like a movie before my eyes. I never spoke of this to anyone til my first regression therapy training lead me to an aha or oh yeah, look at that, moment of epiphany of how Spirit had been directing me.
I have a background as a secondary English and History teacher, children's librarian, professional storyteller and children's drama director, interfaith minister, hospice chaplain, ceremonialist. To that I now honor my gifts, skills, talents, abilities in the realms this website speaks of. All the mentioned pathways here were perfect trainings for my Light of Spirit, Ocean of Soul, Heart of Healing Answers practice.

Take a breath or two here and read on for a true story from my life journey this time around where we meet.
You are about to behold one of the most magnificent, mystical, magical places on Earth that I also had the wondrous blessing to call home. Big Sur which means Big South is on the California coast between San Francisco and Los Angeles. In the psycho-spiritual teachings of the Native American Medicine Wheel, the South is the place of the Emotional realm, the feeling Heart center. This was my daily commute from my office in Carmel and my hospice chaplaincy service in Salinas. Spirit guidance brought me here meaning I clairraudiently heard the message to move from New England to California. Whenever family or friend questioned me as to where exactly I was going, I learned to say, " It will be revealed." That is how I got here, trusting on a wing and a prayer, and listening daily for guidance. That is now my full time practice, listening, looking, hearing, seeing, feeling, inner knowings of answers, surrendering to Spirit guiding the way.
Back to Big Sur. One day, many years ago now, I was traveling down this road you see here, also known as Highway 1, wondering about something. So I put out to the universe my question. "Why did you bring me here? I would have been obedient to following the guidance received and gone anywhere, but why here?" The answer came immediately.
"Moriah, your grief was so intense we had to bring you somewhere where you could empty it out into a great space." As this was clearly said to me, I looked out onto the majestic expanse of the Santa Lucia Mountains meeting the Pacific Ocean. I stared out at the ocean and realized the truth of what had been spoken to me. I had come here heartbroken and broken open from the loss of the one who was my performing partner and who was also the one I thought was my life partner. In the unraveling of my life, all I had left it seemed was to follow Spirit to start over.
Perhaps a question or questions is what has lead you here this day. Welcome to a homecoming for yourself and your soul's highest healing and unfoldment. Out pass the world of titles, degrees, certifications, schooling, I consider myself primarily to be a loving guide and after a lifetime or lifetimes of devotion to that ancient admonition to Know Thyself and I would add, Heal Thyself, I am an experienced expert continuing to learn, seek, grow, serve your soul's highest healing, and evolution.
